Report on the Meeting of the GDCh Board of Directors on March 4, 2022

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the first meeting of the Board of the German Chemical Society this year was again held as an online event and not, as originally planned, as a face-to-face meeting at the invitation of GDCh partner publisher Wiley-VCH on the occasion of its 100^th founding anniversary in Weinheim.

At the beginning of the meeting at 1 p.m., GDCh President Dr. Karsten Danielmeier welcomed the participants and established that a quorum was present. The Board adopts the minutes of the Board meeting of December 8, 2021, as well as the present agenda and takes note of the decisions made since the last meeting in the online procedure. The second board meeting originally scheduled for September 9, 2022, and the general meeting scheduled for the same day as part of the Bunsen Conference in Giessen are moved by two days. Both events will now take place on September 7, 2022, still at the Bunsen Meeting in Giessen.
