Iupac 2023 in The Hague

Several GDCh and JCF members attended the programme of the Iupac World Chemistry Congress 2023 in The Hague in August 2023.

Not only the Iupac World Chemistry Congress was held but also a broad variety of meetings and networking opportunities were offered. A few of the participants report here on what they experienced during this week of exciting programming.

The 52^nd Iupac Council Meeting was held as the core element of the Iupac General Assembly on August 23^rd and 24^th, 2023 and attended by a German delegation. Several future-oriented decisions have been taken by the Council:¹⁾ The Council ratified the election of the new Vice President Mary Garson (Australia), Secretary General Zoltan Mester (Canada), Elected Members of the Executive Board, and Council-Elected Members of the Science Board, amongst them the former GDCh President Peter R.
